HOW I FIRST LEARNT TO RIDE MY BIKE

How i first learnt to ride my bike is i rode my bike around in circles really fast and then i tilted my bike to the side so i could turn better that's  why i  can turn extremely fast around the corners. Manasseh was the one who taught me to ride my bik

SAFETY SURF ED

Always swim between the flags so that Image result for surf life savingthe lifeguards can see you and so you don't  swim into a rip

Image result for parent
Always make sure a parent can see you in the water and make sure you tell them where you're going
Image result for adviceListen to advice from lifeguards so you can be more safe.

Related imageNever ever swim alone because you can get stuck in a rip or drown.

If you are at a beach that has no lifeguards but the water has heaps of waves or its dangerous  don't swim in it

Epic Volcanoes

This is My Volcano Project its inspired by a
                                                                 composite volcano
                                                            I made this volcano with
                                                                   paper mashe

    Volcanoes (Puia)  card

Introduction cardboard
Have you felt a rumble in the ground because that's the tectonic plates moving . Also If you have a cat  it can warn you when  a volcano   eruption is  because they can feel little movements in the ground and if it's not a volcano eruption it's obviously going to be a  earthquake.

What are volcanoes?
The earth has four layers. The outer is called the crust. Below the crust lays the mantle and it is nearly 3000kms thick. Below the mantle lays liquid metal. The magma chamber (Te raima magma)
is in the mantle .side the earth's crust that's why the earth's crust and mantle it is so hotImage result for volcanoes gifs
The outer core is made out of hot liquid metal and lies beneath the mantle. The inner core is at the centre of the earth.
can be caused  tectonic plates because the tectonic plates pushes the magma  up the  vents then magma turns into lava then it turns into a eruption

Fun fact
(Ngahau)
fact when magma is out of the volcano it’s called lava

Volcanic Rocks

   VOLCANIC ROCKS
obsidian | Obsidian with well-developed conchoidal fractures ...
Obsidian is a volcanic rock
Obsidian looks like glass (karāhe) because is rapidly cools down and obsidian cools down really fast and obsidian is half crystal.

Porphyritic rhyolite (Cenozoic; Chaffee County, Colorado, … | FlickrRhyolite
is a glassy volcanic (ahi kōmau)  rock and it looks like  quartz and is one of the most common volcanic rocks.
File:Pyrolusite dendritic on felsite.jpg - Wikimedia CommonsFelsite is a carefully grained rock kōura)     (papatea and does not contain crystals or quartz but if you look at it it looks like it does.
Basalt | Igneous rocks form by the cooling & crystallization… | Flickr Basalt is the most! Common volcanic  rock and it is mostly found on the surface of the volcano and Basalt can be found on the moon (whānau ariki).

Image result for sulphur
Sulphur  is found in mud pools and hot pools and makes the water hot also Sulfur or sulphur boiling point 444.6 °C

IMG_20170822_123905.jpgPumice is light weight and it is used for scraping dead skin and pumice floats and as holes in it and pumice forms by the rich gas in the volcano and it floats on lava also it solidifies it self really fast and it floats on water because of its light weight

                                               Volcanic Minerals

 Diamond              Copper                          Gold

Screenshot 2017-08-24 at 11.55.00 AM.png               Diamond is a volcanic mineral what is formed in the mantle then when the volcano erupts the diamond gets pushed up by the magma then  into the volcano magma chamber then burst out and it can also come out by the tectonic plates pushing it up it
Copper is really high on thermal electrical conductivity and it is a type of really strong metal and it melting point is 1,085 °C it is even more stronger than normal  metal because it is has a higher melting point than metal
Gold is a type of metal it is the most valuable metal and strongest and it is formed by the earth's molten iron sink  to make the core than of it than it takes a while and platinum is mixed with the gold it takes a few years to make it and platinum makes gold shiny because platinum is shiny itself.

What impact do volcanoes have on the world we live in?

      Positive                           negative
metals a volcano can produce metals such as copper, steel, metal, nickel, etc
Volcanoes can cause a death and destruction
Farming. volcanoes can help humans  for farming because under the ground the magma can heat it up instead of the sun
Ash clouds and gas clouds can cause pollution and harmful for your lungs
Heating. The magma can heat your water for your showers and heat your house
Lava can travel at a speed of 50kms an hour nearly as fast as the fastest man on earth and lava can destroy houses and land
Cooking. Instead of gas tops and stoves you can use hot magma for cooking because it can heat up titanium pipes mixed with molten lava
Lava can destroy food if it's on land
Because it can burn it to ashes and there will be no more food

FACT FILE
Volcanoes of South America - Simple English Wikipedia, the free ...
1. Tuhinga o mua the eruption of mount st helens the volcano was 3,000 meters high.

2. Some lava can move at a speed of 50 km an hour nearly as fast as usain bolt.
3. The rock that flooded over pompeii was 5 meters thick the rock is taller than the tallest person on Earth!!
4. The earth as more than 1,500. Active volcanoes in the world.
5.  One way a volcano erupts. A volcano erupts by the tectonic plates pushes the magma chamber (where the magma is stored ) then the magma gets pushed through the vents and then gets turn into a eruption.
6. Fun fact when magma is out of a volcano it is called lava!
Acrostic poem
Volcanoes are huge(nui) mountains with magma
On the top of the volcano there is a crater(Papa)
Laccolith is a shape of a mushroom and it is 2 layers thick of sedimentary rock
(Latangaha)

Craters are the top of the volcano where most of the lava comes out of and smoke and deadly gases
Ash clouds when a volcano erupts ash clouds are formed and they can reach a speed of 700 km and hour
Norway had a eruption  in 2014 when the volcano Eyjafjallajökull erupted.
Olympus Mons is the biggest volcano in the universe. It is found on Mars.Free photo: Volcano, Snow, Nature - Free Image on Pixabay - 950313

GLOSSARY
Obsidian  (Whakaaro) Is a hard rock with heaps of layers of glass (karāhe)
Olympus mons Is a volcano on mars it is the biggest (Nui)  in the solar system
Extinct (Tuhinga)  Means it is dead or never come again like the dinosaurs
Atmosphere  (Atamosphere)  Is gases it is over the earth and it is air
Crater (Pato) Is the top of a volcano were all the lava comes out of
Crust (Te kawa)  Is a solid shell every time you dig it it gets hotter
(Lava) tahepuia Is magma but out of the volcano (puia)
Magma Is lava but when it is out Out of the volcano it is could  lava

Calendar Art

                                               This is my  Calendar Art
How I made it. I first  got some practice paper to do my practice silhouettes then I had to do my practice background. Then We had to mark what place where the blue and green goes then we did are good copies. first you get cartridge paper for your background then you get some paper for your silhouettes.  cut them out then get your cut out ones then put them on black paper then trace the silhouettes on the black paper then when you have done that you cut them out when you have finished that you stick them on to your background then you are done.
                               learning muscles I used
The learning muscles I mainly used is my persevering muscle because when I did  my coloring in my background I accidentally  smudge  the blue with the green but I tried to fix it up with out the teacher doing it.
                                                      Time
Your master piece will take 5 to 8 days to finish your master piece.
